Mary Jean Stowe

Mary Jean Stowe of Kalamazoo, passed away July 13, 2016 at Alamo Nursing Home. Mary was born on November 29, 1924 in Lansing. The daughter of William & Clara (Splitt) Whitney. Mary was a member of the First Congregational Church and Kalamazoo Stroke Club. She was preceded by her husband Kenneth Stowe and brother Edwin. Mary is survived by 3 sons, Roger (Sue) Stowe of Louisville, KY; Donn (Dianne) Stowe of Parchment and James (Deborah) Stowe of Kalamazoo. One daughter, Linda (Bob) Rimsay of Canada. Eighteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday July 15, 2016 from 10 until 11 am at Calvary Bible Church: 855 S. Drake, followed by a memorial service at 11 am with a luncheon to follow. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery Okemos, MI.
