Antonino Joseph Guarisco

Passed away Friday April 28, 2023, at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Antonino was born September 18, 1935, in Kalamazoo, the son of Victor and Lillian (Anselmo) Guarisco. He was a member of the U.S. Navy Reserves and was employed by Upjohn and Hydreco Hydraulics before retirement. Antonino loved his wife, spending time with his family, painting, fishing, hunting, swimming, college basketball, especially U of M, going to the casino and traveling. On July 20, 1968, In Kalamazoo Antonino was united in marriage to Valerie Gallagher who survives. Also surviving are five children, Lori Guarisco, Karen (David) Visser, Carol (Vincent) Veneziano, Antonino (Tammy) Guarisco, Gina (Michelle) Guarisco; two sisters, Virginia (Ken) Kruizenga, Lillian (Terry) Amos; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Antonio Guarisco; sister, Lucille Stanfield. Friends will be received 9:30 am – 1:30 pm Friday May 12, 2023, at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo where services will follow at 1:30 pm. Interment will be in Mt.
