Catherine Louise Cook Age 93

Of Kalamazoo

Passed away on October 28, 2025 at The Willows Assisted Living facility in St. Joseph, MI. Catherine was born on September 14, 1932 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Frederick and Anna (Klaes) Bloink . Catherine graduated from St. Theresa High School, Detroit, MI and was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Parchment where she was active in the Legion of Mary.

Catherine was proceeded in death by her husband, David Cook and her son Daniel Drogowski. Surviving are seven children: Theresa (Cory) Mollak; Joseph (Sharon) Drogowski; Ellen (Thomas) Augustyn; Dianne (Gerald) Vanderweele; Karen Murphy; Paul Drogowski and Marie (Kenneth) Slater; 14 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 1628 E. G Avenue, Parchment, MI 49004. The Very Rev. Albert Kemboi Tuitoek VF as Celebrant. A luncheon will immediately follow the Mass and will be held in the St. Ambrose Activity Center. Inurnment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery following the luncheon.
