Clayton L. Flagg, 59, of Kalamazoo, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026 at his home. He was born February 11, 1967 in Sturgis, the son of Donald and Janet (Hamilton) Flagg. On July 11, 1992 in Quincy, Clayton was united in marriage to Angela Kirt. Clayton worked in the automotive industry first as a mechanic for many years at various auto repair shops, and, for the past 20 years, in auto parts supply. He was employed by Campbell Auto Supply, O’Reilly Auto Parts and retired from Auto Value in 2023. Clayton was an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing with his wife, Angela. He was also known for his smoked meats and his green thumb, growing a wide variety of indoor plants.

Clayton is survived by his wife of 33 years, Angela Flagg; one brother, Michael (Jane) Flagg; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends are welcome to gather from 12 Noon – 4 PM on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Adams-Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave., Kalamazoo, where a memorial service will be held at 4 PM. For those wishing to make a contribution in his memory, the family suggests Bronson Cancer Center or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
