Dennis O. Carr

Dennis O. Carr "Doc" 70, of Kalamazoo, passed away Monday, June 24, 2024, at his home. 

He was born July 23, 1953, in Kalamazoo, the son of the late Fred Carr and Frances M. (Bestervelt) Carr.

Dennis was a family man, he was an avid golfer for many years as well as baseball. He enjoyed many years of buying and selling cars. He absolutely loved living in Michigan, going boating and working around his 4 acres. Dennis was a passionate fan of U of M fan. 

On November 18, 2007, in Portage, Michigan , he married Marianne (Muth) Carr who survives.

He is also survived by his daughter, Caitlan (Michael) Stangl; two grandchildren, Annie and Ben Stangl, his stepdaughter, Caroline (Erin Elliot) Ecklund, two nieces, Melissa West and Emily West. 

Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia West.
