Glenda Sue Story

Glenda Sue Story, 71, of Parchment, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026, at her home.

She was born June 28, 1954, in West Plains, Missouri, the daughter of Glen E. Story and Lena B. (Fox) Story.

Glenda will be remembered for her love and passion for Christmas. Holiday decorating was the most important detail. She also loved bunnies. She enjoyed watching soap operas and Survivor. Glenda was a member and baptized at East Main Church of Christ.

She is survived by her mother; Lena Story, two sisters; Patti (Keith) Hoogenboom and Jean (Bernie) Rorick, brother in law; Chris Harvey, nieces and nephews; Josh, Katie, Kristen, Payden, Lucia, Caleb, Sarah, Delaney and Maddie; along with several great nieces and nephews.

Glenda was preceded in death by her sisters, Teresa Harvey and Kendra Story, and her brother, Tim Story.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Adams - Redmond - Parchment Funeral Home, 2300 East G. Ave., Parchment. Funeral services will commence at 12:00 p.m., with Rev. Cliff Plummer officiating. Burial will follow at East Cooper Cemetery.
