Maria Z. Karamalegos

Maria Karamalegos passed away July 13, 2017. She was born in Kalymnos, Greece on May 16, 1929 the daughter of Themelis and Kalotina (Saroukou) Zervos. She was a member of the Greek Orthodox Churches in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. She was preceded in death by her husband Zacharias on February 2, 2001, brother: Nicolas Zervos and sister: Niki Zervos. Maria is survived by three children: Dr. Antonios (Claire) Karamalegos of N.C, Themelis  Karamalegos of Niles  MI and Tina (Nikitas) Spanos of Centerville, 6 grandchildren: Zacharias, Dr. Alexander, Joshua, Zacharias, Nicolas Karamalegos, and Antonios Spanos, Great Grandson: Caleb. Friends will be received Wednesday July 19, 2017 from 4 until 8pm at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008 (269) 343-6156 where services will be held at 7pm.
