Melissa Ann Emmons

Melissa Ann Emmons, 60, of Portage, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025 at her home after a long illness. Missy was born July 22, 1965, the daughter of Donald and Barbara (Holt) Emmons. She grew up as an "Army Brat" living in various places throughout the world. Missy was a 1983 graduate of Portage Northern High School, and was most recently employed by Airborne Express as a supervisor, retiring in 2000. Missy enjoyed horses, crafting, riding her motorcycle, and was a dedicated dog mom to her five great danes.

Missy is survived by her husband, David Oliver; a brother, Donald Emmons (Patricia Towne); her grandson, Eli Emmons; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Manuel Emmons who passed away in 2021.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 1 – 3 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2028 at the Adams – Redmond – Parchment Funeral Home, 2300 E. G Avenue, Parchment, MI 49004. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
