Michael Lee Cagle

Passed away at Beacon Kalamazoo after a brief illness. Michael was born on May 19, 1969 in Kalamazoo, the son of Manuel and Sandra (Sherrill) Cagle. Michael was a graduate of ITT Tech and worked in building maintenance for residential apartments. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a singer in a band. Known for his quirky and wonderfully weird sense of humor, Michael brought laughter wherever he went. He loved his family deeply, cherished his dogs, and was kind to everyone he met, including strangers. In recent years, he worked as a bartender at the Sugar Bowl. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Cagle. He is survived by his mother, Sandra Cagle; his life partner of 11 years, Jessica Clark; his son, Tanner (Kara) Cagle; daughters, Shelby Cagle and Jordan (Kyle) Kennedy; his brother, Matthew (Elaine) Cagle; his sister, Jennifer Hahn; three grandchildren and six nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
