Randy Karl Draper

Randy Karl Draper, 71 of Battle Creek passed away Friday March 3, 2023 at home. Randy was born June 6, 1951 in Battle Creek, the son of Karl Draper and Ardis (Newberry) Morrison. He was a 1971 graduate of Lakeview High School, Kellogg Community College, and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Randy was employed as radiology technician at the former Battle Creek Community Hospital. He was a gifted musician, singing, writing music, playing the guitar and the drums. He was member of the Slytones and the R & D Connection bands. Surviving are his three sisters, Dawn Gwillim, Karla (Vince) Krizan and Linda Morrison (Mike Wales), and four nieces. Randy will be honored with a Celebration of life at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association. www.redmondfuneralhomes.net
