Robert G. Campos, 41, of Kalamazoo, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026 at his home. He was born December 28, 1984 in Kalamazoo. Rob resided in Florida and in Kalamazoo throughout his adulthood. He worked as a petitioner for state ballot proposals and worked as a cook at various restaurants in the Kalamazoo area. Most recently, he ran his own local handyman business, What Chya Need, LLC. Rob was a talented tattoo artist and tattooed many of family and friends. He also had a hobby as a swordsmith making swords and was a fan of ICP.

Rob is survived by his mother, Helen McConaha; biological father, Gregory Campos; stepdad, Rickey Schultz; grandmother, Diane McConaha; three siblings, Kesha (Calvin) Johnson, Gregory Campos, II, and Gabriel Campos; his cousin, Chris Moorlag who was like a brother to him; niece and nephew, Benjamin and Charlotte Johnson; and close friend Shameka Taylor who was like a sister to him.

Cremation has taken place and Rob’s family will celebrate his life privately at a later date.
