Theresa L. Holton

Theresa Lee Holton passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, at the age of 67. Theresa was born on October 5, 1958, in Kalamazoo to James L. Holton and Marcella E. (Moore) Holton.

Theresa graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School where she played volleyball. Once she started her first job as a waitress in high school, she never stopped working. She met life-long friends when she worked as a teller and Master Card coordinator at the American National Bank. She went on to work for Discover Card Services in Detroit and New Jersey for 13 years as a service and sales representative. Later she became a customer service representative for several international companies until she retired in 2024.

Theresa married Phillip Roberts on October 5, 1995. They enjoyed travelling to France, Italy, Finland and Scotland on business trips. While living in Florida they played golf and travelled to Augusta, Georgia to watch Tiger Woods at the Masters Tournament in 1999.

Theresa’s hobbies were swimming, photography, raising her dogs and kitties, reading Ken Follett novels, and painting. Her favorite TV show is the Big Bang Theory.

Left to cherish Theresa’s memory are her two sisters, Patricia and Paula Holton, brother James Holton, nephew, Aaron (Savannah) Holton, her cousins, and her cat, Kiki.

In accordance with Theresa’s wishes, she was cremated, and no funeral services will be held. In a private event, her immediate family will scatter her ashes in a location that held meaning to her. We invite you to commemorate Theresa’s life in your own personal way.
